MMA - Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is the combat sport in which two competitors attempt to achieve dominance over one another by utilizing a wide variety of permitted martial arts techniques. These techniques generally fall into three categories: striking, grappling and finishing holds. Victory is normally gained through knock-out, submission, or stoppage by the referee. The MMA class is the place where students can utlilize all the techniques they have learned in our variety of classes, but combine them for use in a full-contact atmosphere. The MMA classes are exclusively offered to members who are enrolled in our MMA program, which includes access to all of the classes on our schedule.
